Isaiah 50:4-6

The Lord God has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens me morning by morning, he awakens my ear to hear as the learned. The Lord God has opened my ear and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away. I gave my back to those who struck me , and my cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide my face from shame and spitting. This really speaks to me.

Being around death so much is a hard thing. I take comfort in knowing I can offer a little bit in the end days. It doesn’t scare me anymore, its something natural, we all end up there eventually. I take comfort in knowing that pain turns to comfort.

Life is a journey. Stop and view beauty. Stop and feel love in your heart. When your journey becomes too hard, seek the beauty of nature, of creation. Know that this world is ours and the paths we choose have consequence. When that consequence comes, be it good or bad, this was the path you have chosen. You are never alone in this world and help is there for you always, you are watched over. Do no harm to others and stand for what you believe. Do not walk through your journey with blinkers on, smell the roses, help those surrounding us, creatures or people on the street. Every journey has a destination.

I met this guy and he makes my life amazing, when he’s there I feel a complete peace within myself and know that i’m worth so much more than i’ve settled for in the past. I know that i am supported and he makes me feel amazing. I’m falling in love with you.

I’ve come to a point in my life I never thought i would reach. I’m falling in love with him. I want to be a better person for him and I can feel myself growing so much. All I need to do is find the strength to overcome the temptation that comes with what is familiar and where I feel at home. Nothing can explain this last month so I won’t even try. I still need that little bit more from him, but the amount of love I feel is something that has been absent from my heart for so long. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve said I wouldn’t depend on anyone again, but maybe this is an exception to the rule, and maybe I can open my heart fully to him. So far all the signs are pointing in the right direction.

All I need is to figure out how to leave behind the final part of my past.
